„Още по османско време, от нашия регион падишахът си е вземал и месото, и меда. Имам предвид от Родопите. Ние, тук, сме благословени, защото количествата са по-малки, но качеството на меда е високо. Хората са склонни да дадат тази цена, която пчеларят иска – 8-10-12 лв. за различните видове мед. В Хасково и Стара Загора например, картината се променя драстично“, казва кърджалиецът.
В момент, в който голяма част от пчеларите в страната алармират, че пръскането с пестициди убива пчелите и вреди сериозно на бранша, в Кърджали се оказва, че такъв проблем не съществува. „В нашия регион нямаме проблем с пръсканията, защото нямаме технически култури като рапица, слънчоглед, памук и др.“, казва Бурулянов. Тук обаче добивът на мед е в по-малки количества, причината е високопланинският терен и липсата на достатъчно паша за пчелите.
„Например, в големите райони във вътрешността на страната от 1 кошер се вади 30 кг. мед. При нас, ако се извади 15 кила от кошер, и пчеларят е щастлив“, посочва Бурулянов.
Това обаче съвсем не означава, че условията за отглеждане на пчели са лоши. Напротив, количеството е за сметка на качеството. „Каквото и да произвеждаме тук, то е с особен вкус. Аз имам клиенти, които живеят в Турция и казват: „Този вкус го няма там“. Общо взето голямата част от меда го купуват роднините на нашите турци в южната ни съседка. По тази причина в нашия регион няма проблем с реализацията на пчелния мед“, споделя още пчеларят.
Или с други думи, там количествата са повече, но нямат достатъчно купувачи и често се принуждават да го предлагат на търговците и големите преработватели, които дават изключително ниска цена по 3.20 лв. за килограм.
Всички тези факти поставят кърджалийския регион сред тези с най-добри условия за развитие на бранша.
